About
About SASID AI
SASID AI is a founder-led AI engineering firm that builds and runs production AI systems for operations where the volume of work exceeds the people available to do it.
Quality teams hear about 5 percent of calls. Managers answer roughly a third of reviews. Revenue cycle teams appeal only the denials worth 45 minutes of clinical time. None of that is a technology gap, it is arithmetic. SASID builds the system that reads all of it, drafts the score, the reply, or the appeal, and routes it to a person for approval. Seven systems across five industries, each live in four to eight weeks, each owned by the client.
What SASID AI does
Five workflows with the same shape: read everything, draft the output, route it to a person for approval. All are delivered by the same engineer and deployed inside the client environment rather than sold as a hosted product.
AI denial appeals
The flagship offer, and the most documented. Cooperating agents pull the denial and the linked encounter from Epic or Cerner over read-only FHIR, build the clinical argument from the chart, match the payer policy language, and draft a complete appeal with inline citations. In production the draft took under two minutes against 30 to 60 minutes by hand, and the hospital group recovered millions in denied inpatient claims.
Patient-access and contact center call coverage
Every recorded call is transcribed, scored against your own scorecard, and returned with evidence quotes and coaching notes. One contact center platform went from sampling under 5 percent of calls to scoring 100 percent, with analysts validating exceptions instead of listening at random.
Plain-English reporting over your own data
A query layer that turns a question like "which payer denied the most inpatient claims last quarter" into a cited answer from your own records. A cybersecurity platform shipped this against a proprietary query language and ran six months in production without a malformed query, and its sales win rate rose 28 percent.
Review response and lead scoring for multi-location brands
Public reviews answered in your voice within minutes, per location, with staff approval where it matters, and buying signals in those reviews turned into a ranked lead queue. At 200-plus locations this answered more than 30,000 reviews a day, lifted the response rate from 60 percent to 99.8 percent, and the lead scoring added seven figures of recurring revenue.
Fractional Head of AI
For companies with an AI mandate and no senior AI leadership: architecture review, build-or-buy calls, vendor evaluation, and a roadmap your board can read. Included in the Platform tier and available on its own. The deliverable is written decisions, not a weekly status deck.
What makes SASID AI different
Five differences a buyer can check before signing. Each one is a term in the agreement, not a claim about culture.
The engineer on the first call writes the code
SASID is one senior engineer with 13 years in software and five building production AI. There is no account manager, no junior staff, and no offshore delivery team, which is the usual arrangement when a consultancy such as Accenture, Deloitte, or Slalom sells the engagement and staffs it afterwards. That is also why SASID onboards two to three organizations at a time and schedules starts monthly.
Proof on fifty of your own denials before the implementation fee
Fifty real denials are run under NDA and BAA, and your reviewer scores the letters before any implementation fee is committed. Vendor pilots in this category are usually paid, scoped for months, and run on the vendor sample data. If the numbers do not support building, the written verdict says so.
You own the source code, documentation, and runbooks from week one
Everything is delivered into your cloud accounts and your repositories, and it keeps running if SASID disappears. A hosted denials product such as AKASA, Janus Health, or Adonis keeps the model and the pipeline on its own infrastructure, so the capability leaves when the contract does.
One implementation fee and one monthly fee, never a percentage of what you collect
Appeals Engine is $35,000 plus $5,000 a month, Revenue Cycle is $60,000 plus $12,000 a month, and Platform starts at $100,000 plus $25,000 a month, each with a stated denial volume limit. Outsourced revenue cycle vendors in the category, R1 RCM, Ensemble Health Partners, and Savista among them, are typically paid a contingency percentage of collections, so the bill rises with the recovery. Usage above your plan limit is passed through at model cost with the invoice attached.
A 90-day guarantee with two numbers agreed in writing, and a way out
Before the build starts we agree on coverage, the share of denials the engine drafts a letter for, and accuracy, the share of drafts your reviewer accepts with under five minutes of edits. If either is missed at launch or at any point in the first 90 days, for any reason on our side, the monthly fee pauses until it is met, and if it is still missed 30 days after your written notice you may end the 12-month term and keep everything. Contracts are assignable to an acquirer at no charge.
Who uses SASID AI
Mid-market operators whose revenue runs through more records and customer conversations than their people can read.
- Hospital groups and multi-specialty physician practices, from a 50-person operation to a multi-hospital system, running Epic or Cerner
- Revenue cycle and denials teams losing appealable claims to payer filing deadlines, with a named executive owner measured on net revenue
- Contact centers and BPOs of 50 to 2,000 agents who sample under 10 percent of their calls for quality
- Multi-location consumer brands with 50 or more locations and thousands of public reviews a month
- B2B SaaS and cybersecurity companies of 50 to 500 employees with an AI mandate and no senior AI leadership in place
Not a fit
- Idea-stage startups looking for a technical co-founder
- Teams that want a chatbot on the website and nothing behind it
- Agencies reselling AI services to their own clients
- Projects with no owner and no timeline
The team behind SASID AI
SASID AI is one person by design. The work below was architected and shipped by the founder, as an in-house AI lead, as a consultant, and through SASID.
Shahrukh Siddiqui
Founder and the engineer on every engagement
Sugar Land, Texas · B.S. Computer Science, University of Houston
Shahrukh Siddiqui has been building software for thirteen years and shipping production AI for the last five. The turning point was being hired as the only AI engineer at a company that needed a platform every product team would depend on, with no team to hand it to and no room for a pilot. It ended up answering more than 30,000 reviews a day across 200 locations, and lead scoring on those signals added seven figures of recurring revenue.
Healthcare came next. Nurses were spending 30 to 60 minutes writing each insurance appeal and the backlog meant many denials were never appealed at all. The system built for that hospital group drafts a cited, payer-formatted appeal in under two minutes inside a HIPAA environment, with a nurse signing every letter, and it became the offering SASID sells today.

How SASID AI started
SASID AI was founded in 2024 in Sugar Land, Texas, after five years of watching the same failure repeat across industries: an AI pilot that impressed everyone in the demo and then quietly stopped moving because nobody owned it and nobody measured it. The firm exists so that a mid-market operator does not have to hire a twelve-person AI team to get a system that actually runs.
If something happens to the founder
You own the source, the architecture documents, and the runbooks from week one, and your team is trained before launch. The platform runs in your cloud on your accounts, and the runbooks are written so any senior engineer can operate the monthly review from the documentation alone. No part of your workflow depends on a person you cannot replace.
Where the engineer has shipped before
Employers and consulting clients over a thirteen-year career: Vertex Inc, Persefoni, JupiterOne, Kenect, HackerOne, Hearst, CenterPoint Energy, SLB (Schlumberger), Korn Ferry, and Chick-fil-A. These are not SASID clients and no endorsement is implied. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
How SASID AI works

Frequently asked questions
Who owns and runs SASID AI?
Shahrukh Siddiqui, the founder, owns the firm and is the engineer on every engagement. There is no sales team and no delivery team behind him, which is why starts are limited to two or three organizations at a time.
How big is SASID AI?
One senior engineer. Specialist contractors are brought in for defined pieces such as a security review, and they work under the same NDA and BAA, but the architecture and the code are the founder's work.
Where is SASID AI located?
Sugar Land, Texas, in the US Central time zone. Delivery is remote across the United States, with onsite time for kickoff or a security review when a client asks for it.
Is SASID AI HIPAA compliant?
SASID signs a BAA and deploys inside your HIPAA environment, so PHI stays in your cloud tenant and the model call goes through a private, HIPAA-eligible endpoint. SASID holds no certification of its own; the compliance boundary is yours and the architecture is built to sit inside it.
What does SASID AI cost?
Appeals Engine is $35,000 to implement plus $5,000 a month, Revenue Cycle is $60,000 plus $12,000, and Platform starts at $100,000 plus $25,000, each with a stated denial volume limit. There is no hourly billing and no percentage of what you collect. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
How long does it take to go live?
Four to eight weeks from kickoff, with a release into your environment every week along the way. The appeals engine this offering is based on went from kickoff to production in five weeks.
Who owns the code?
You do, from week one, along with the architecture documents, the runbooks, and the training. Everything runs in your cloud accounts, so the system keeps working whether or not SASID is still involved.
Which EHRs and systems does SASID integrate with?
Epic and Cerner over read-only FHIR is the standard path. Where FHIR access is not yours to grant, such as Epic Community Connect hosts, athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks, the engine works from your 835 remits and a chart export instead.
Does SASID work outside healthcare?
Yes. The same engine runs call quality scoring for contact centers and BPOs, review response and lead scoring for multi-location brands, and onboarding copilots and query layers for B2B SaaS. Healthcare denial appeals is the primary offering and the rest are adjacent workflows with their own pages.
Why are there no testimonials or client logos on this site?
Because no client has agreed to be named yet, and inventing social proof is how a firm ends up with an FTC problem. The case studies carry the client type, the role, the period, and the measured result, which is what can be verified.
Talk to the engineer who would build it
Thirty minutes on a call, then a written roadmap within 48 hours: the workflow, the systems it connects to, the price, and what doing nothing costs at your volume. If the numbers say do not build, the roadmap says so.
